The Horse Market
The Horse Market
The Horse Market lets players browse, buy, adopt, sell, and manage horse listings through ModN Equine.
Open the horse panel with:
/h
Then choose Horse Market.
Browsing Listings
The market browse screen shows active public listings.
Listings can be viewed by page and sorted by:
- newest
- lowest price
- highest price
Reading a Listing
A listing may show information such as:
- horse name
- horse ID
- sex
- breed
- height
- coat or pattern
- Speed XP
- Jump XP
- seller or creator information
- price or adoption fee
- listing visibility
Use this information to decide whether a horse fits your stable goals.
Buying or Adopting
When buying or adopting, read the listing carefully before confirming.
Pay attention to:
- whether it is a mature horse or a foal
- the listed price or adoption fee
- the horse's stats and breed
- whether the horse suits riding, breeding, racing, or collection goals
Selling a Horse
Horse owners can list eligible horses through the horse detail panel.
Open:
/h
Then choose the horse and look for market or selling options.
A horse may not be eligible for sale if another system is currently using or restricting it.
Managing Your Listings
Use the market area to manage your own listings.
You may be able to:
- view active listings
- inspect listed horses
- cancel a listing
- track completed sales
Listed Horses in the World
Listed horses behave differently from normal active horses.
If a horse is actively listed on the market, right-clicking it may open the market listing instead of mounting it.
This helps protect market horses from being used normally while they are for sale or adoption.
Market and Breeding
A listed horse cannot normally be used for breeding.
If you decide to keep and breed a horse, cancel the listing first.
Foals on the Market
Foals may appear in market or adoption systems.
Adopted foals require special care. They must be fed with a bucket of milk each day until they mature.
Normal horse food is not used for adopted foal milk care.
Good Market Habits
Before buying, adopting, or selling, consider:
- what role the horse will have in your stable
- whether you want it for riding, racing, breeding, or collection
- whether you can care for any foal you adopt
- whether you are ready to part with a horse before listing it
The market is part of the long-term stable economy, so make careful choices.
