Using the Horse Panel
The horse panel is the main menu for ModN Equine.
Open it with:
/h
or:
/horse
From the horse panel, you can reach most horse systems without remembering every command.
Main Panel
The main panel includes three main areas:
- My Horses
- Races
- Horse Market
My Horses
Use My Horses to view and manage the horses in your stable.
This is where you can find your owned horses, check their details, and open each horse's management screen.
The horse list can be sorted in different ways, including by:
- ID
- stats
- breed
- height
- coat
This can help when you own several horses and want to compare them.
Horse Details
Opening a horse from your list shows that horse's detail panel.
Depending on the horse, this panel may let you:
- view horse information
- spawn or despawn the horse
- switch the horse into persistent spawn
- teleport to the horse
- rename or manage the horse
- open breeding options
- open bonding options
- open customisation options
- manage friend permissions
- list the horse on the market
Some options only appear or work when the horse is eligible for them.
For example, breeding options depend on the horse's sex, ownership, energy, feeding status, cooldowns, market status, and other rules.
Spawn Controls
The horse detail panel lets you cycle through the horse's spawn state.
The main states are:
- Despawned
- Spawned
- Persistent Spawn
A normal spawned horse is available in the world while active.
A persistent-spawn horse is meant to stay placed in the world, but persistent horses also need regular feeding.
Races
The race area is where race-related options appear.
Races may have entry requirements such as:
- Speed XP
- Jump XP
- energy
- rank
- riding crop type
- race permission for the horse
To race, you normally need to be mounted on the horse and join while an upcoming race is open.
Horse Market
The Horse Market lets players browse horses for sale or manage their own listings.
From the market, you may be able to:
- browse public listings
- sort listings
- inspect listed horses
- manage your own listings
- cancel a listing
If a horse is currently listed on the market, interacting with it in the world may open the market listing instead of letting you ride it.
Friend Permissions
The friend permissions area lets horse owners manage who can access a horse.
Ride access is the basic sharing permission. Race access may also be available depending on the current permission setup.
When Something Is Missing
Common reasons include:
- the horse is not spawned
- the horse is too tired
- the horse is not yours
- the horse is listed for sale
- the horse is on cooldown
- the horse is too young
- the horse is injured
- you do not have the right permission
